Alzheimer’s Disease: Lower Your Risks
76
One of the main causes of Alzheimer’s disease is the APOE-4 gene. Of people who develop Alzheimer’s about 40% have this gene. If you are unlucky enough to have two copies of this gene your odds are increased to about 91%. The APOE-4 gene is known to increase the beta-anyloidal plaque production. With the build up of this plague in the brain the odds of getting Alzheimer’s disease are greatly increased. Today the increase of cases of Alzheimer’s disease is astounding. World wide the cases are in the millions and growing. The APOE-4 gene is only one reason for the cause of Alzheimer’s disease.
Another cause of Alzheimer’s disease is Atrial Fibrillation, which increases the chance of a blood clot. Blood clots that leave the heart and get lodged in your brain cause mini-strokes and kill brain cells. Anyone who has heart disease should get serious about diet and exercise because high LDL levels or bad cholesterol can also effect your brain.
The additives in our food are also a contributing factor. Such things as nitrates, nitrogen fertilizers and pesticides deliver toxins to our body. With more than 300 nitrozamines added to our processed foods a whopping 90% of these have been discovered to contain carcinogenic toxins. Pesticides that in our food and fed to livestock are just a lethal to us as to the pest they are trying to eradicate. Preservatives in our food may improve the shelf life of processed foods but not human life. Law prohibits hormones that are routinely given to chicken and cattle for athletes. Of course this makes little sense because when we consume meat and chicken we are also getting these same hormones.
Jet planes flying over head is deemed as another cause. Every time a jet flies overhead it leaves behind contrails and chemtrails. These may linger in our air up to 4 hours. These are toxins like aluminum and other heavy metals that we breathe. Besides the danger of breathing them, they leach into our water supply. We shower with them, wash our clothes in them and wash our foods in them. There are many other toxins in our environment like formaldehyde. We live in a world loaded with toxins. They are in our car seats, immunizations, and medicines and even in our dry cleaning. Is it any wonder why we have diseases like Alzheimer’s on the rise. In a society such as ours the only thing you can do is be aware of the dangers that are out there and try to avoid as many as possible. Stop eating processed foods that contain toxins. Drink distilled water and beware of cosmetics, hair dyes, deodorant and whatever you put on your skin. Sure you can’t stop a jet from flying overhead but you can limit your exposure to many other toxins. As with many things, it is our own personal choices in life that determine what life we have or don’t have.
